Robert...so sorry to hear this...back on 27Nov08 I mentioned this in one of my posts as Conner's squad lost several due to same tests. I can tell you from our conversations that it will get quite harder once they get to their posts and start orientation...He says, if you don't study hard, it can be very difficult. I will keep praying for ya'll...

Be patient with expecting contact Michael...you'll get the phone call....the "box" will show up in the mail then you're going to wait until you hear again from him......you can write though, but realize they won't get their mail too often in the first few weeks....HooYah...you're in the thick of it now!

hey Alan...Conner is enjoying the area so far because of all the snow I suppose. We don't get much here in the south and when we do, watch out for the locals who think they can drive in it! He is closer to Silverdale as his station is actually Bangor.

Robert it is very distressing that people cant walk alone and not be bothered! but Josh told me the same thing about the men that they were not allowed to be alone or in uniform when they left the base there. it is sad that people don't understand how much our military sacrifices for there country and for them!

Hey everyone!!!! Hope you all had a great Christmas and new year ! I know I did.Sorry I haven't been to involved,Been busy at work and the holidays it's been nuts.Josh and his bride had there first anniversary, and he was promoted to MA3!!! he was very excited,He has been telling me about all the wild life he see's over there wishing he could go and hunt some of it I'm sure.you all need to look up an animal called the Chinese water buck, the most wild looking thing I've ever seen it's a small deer but instead of antlers it has fangs!!!! also wild pigs and many strange birds.Well I hope the holidays were kind to you all and I hope you all got to spend time with your children if not I hope you at least got to talk to them!! it was very hard on my wife and myself ( our first Christmas without him) But like he said he was very excited about starting his life in the Navy and with his new bride and starting there own traditions and life together.I wish you and your families all the best and hopefully I'll get spend a little more time on here! Hello Everyone! Been quite busy trying to get caught up at work. Conner will be home for Christmas and it'll be great to hear his stories...then off to Bremerton SWFPAC for 2 years. All is good and I hope all of our MA's and fam's are doing well and have good Christmas.
