Hello to all! Just found out about this group. Been hanging in the Corpsman group. My son's HM3/FMF with 3 down 3 to go. I'm on the eastside of Cleveland. Good luck & God bless to all our sons & daughters serving proudly, may they all be safe wherever they are until they all come home!

Just wanted to let you know here that we have a group of Navy Moms and Dads who meet for lunch. We decided that we are going to pack birthday boxes for our sailors when we get together.....so, if any Moms and/or Dads want to join us, let me know or pop over to N4M and join the Ohio group.

Our next lunch will be February 12th over around Mentor/Willoughby.

hello everyone, well our son's first deployment is almost complete. He says that he will not complain about living on the islands again. He will not be home for Christmas or New Years but maybe sometime after the new year has started. he does miss OHIO alot>

Anyone have a sailor driving back to Ohio for holiday leave? Our son is free after 16:00 on the 17th and we're trying to arrange transportation. Someone also mentioned catching a military 'hop' into Wright Patterson, which would be free. Let me know folks!

Dennis, our son was in a school in Pensacola and after he was done he said he really liked the area and learned alot.He and his crew go back every 6 months or so for more and refresher training.I think they are going in the next few weeks.I know we can't say what our sailor does but ours is on the flight deck when ever "birds'' are beig launched or caught.

Thank you Lowell. Much appreciated. As a family we're attempting 're-entry' after the emotional and fulfilling PIR weekend. We're thrilled, proud - and drained. Elated and proud of/for him - but anxious about his next phase of training in Pensacola, FL.

Thanks, Eric. Congrats to you and your son, as well. Best wishes to Ryan and your family. Please thank him on our behalf for serving our country - alongside our son! God Bless them both...and the US Navy!

Congratulations to you and your son Dennis. Our son Ryan just graduated this past Friday also. It is quite an accomplishment. Very very proud, just not much more you can say
