I agree, looking at these sites I am a little doubtful.

Fox is reporting they went by Syia but are on there way home.  I'm going to beleive Fox before these other sites.

Well I do have a time frame on when my husband is getting leave after they pull in..I cannot give dates on here due to opsec, however the below article is a disturbing piece of news and I sure hope that nothing more comes out of this. I miss him terribly and we can't wait for him to come home! Saying a little prayer for our sailors and troops tonight.

Anyone else read the article on NFM or watching Fox News & CNN.  I'm of the understanding that the IKE is now off the

coast of Syria with a whole lot of other ships. ?????

For those of you who do not look at the NFM site this article was posted

Received an email, early this morning, it has gotten cold and the less are rough.
Strangely enough, that does not seem to bother to many crew members!

This is the first time for me posting on Navy Dads.. The Ike Family, as a whole, is filled with excitement.. but, also some sadness as well.  Many families just can't get there for homecoming. We are waiting for the final word on dates to finish our travel plans. It's the sense of expectation that feeds the excitement.

It is a little farther but because they are being so flexible with dates I believe I will stay there. I just need a place to sleep the night before if I have to get up a little earlier to make it so be it.
