I agree awesome Pit.  Merry Christmas everyone.  We are injoying our time with our son at home.  I know it is short lived but any time is good time.  He is looking foward to visiting more ports when they go back out.

The DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER makes a hard left turn on Dec. 19 to pull into her pier abreast the GEORGE H. W. BUSH.

My son reported aboard on Thanksgiving day. Just in time to head back.

wowwww, i signed up with navy dads because my son just recently graduated from rtc in great lakes illinois. i served aboard the eisenhower as part of the marine detachment from 1981 to 1984. this site has really brought back good memories of my time aboard such a great aircraft carrier. i just want to pass along that to all the men serving aboard the ike a big marine corps ooooooorahhh,you will remember your time spent aboard the ike for the rest of your life.
