Wow....THAT is amazing fate!  He has a lot of time on the "Abe"- it was  nice to know you were always here in the group- it's hard to leave- Kat's enlistment was up in '10 and I'm active here too!

5 years with the Lincoln,time to come ashore. Son gets assigned less than 45 minutes from home for the next 3 years. Hooyah!!

Our son completed A school (HT) early 2015 and has been at Norfolk, VA while the Lincoln's overhaul continues.  Looking forward to becoming more informed via this group.  Thank you.  ~ Pat

On March 28, 2015, USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) will mark the two-year anniversary of its arrival at Newport News Shipbuilding for its mid-life Refueling and Complex Overhaul (RCOH). With approximately 60 percent of its overhaul complete, USS Abraham Lincoln is on track to redeliver a fully modernized warship with trained warriors by fall of 2016
