My son wil be joining up with his new ship sometime in july.not sure were the ship will be? I know I would like to be there when the ship leaves. Does any one know if this is possible.

At Mukilteo Lighthouse & Beach...

We are just starting to get photos in from the homecoming of the USS Nimitz to Naval Station Everett. This one was emailed to us from MCCS Eric Harrison as the ship pulled up to the pier. - U.S. Navy Region Northwest

Moored, Shift Colors. Hello, Everett! After eight and a half months, five countries, half the globe, and more than 80,000 nautical miles travelled, it feels really good to say, "We're Home!"

PACIFIC OCEAN (Dec. 7, 2013) Aircraft assigned to Carrier Air Wing 11 perform a fly-by performance for Sailors and their family members on a “tiger cruise” onboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). Nimitz is transiting the U.S. 3rd Fleet area of responsibility (AOR) after spending eight months deployed to the U.S. 5th, 6th and 7th Fleet AORs.
