Charlie is a couple of weeks into A-school now, long hold between RSS and A school. He's doing great though, the guy never ceases to amaze me. He just goes and goes and goes. I can never get in touch with him because if he's not in school or on duty then he's in the gym or training MMA (He's been training since he was 13). Luckily we're heading down for a short visit over Memorial Day Weekend. It's our third trip down since hes been there, but we know once he leaves it may be a long haul before we see him again. So the traveling is worth it.

Jim, Garrett has been an instructor at Pensacola's Aircrew and RSS classrooms since he returned from Japan in April 2013.  He has also volunteered to served as an MA on base for over a year during 2014 & 2015.  Always transitioning between schoolhouses as needed, he has met the needs of the Navy instead of staying only on a single track and progress faster.  Proud of his humble attitude and desire to serve.  He will end his assignment as an instructor in May 2016.  His overall contract will be up in Dec. 2016.

Always! He has really excelled and though his Mom and I get pretty nervous at times, we realize this is his calling. We trust in the Lord and pray daily. :)
Also, I should have edited that he and family will be HOME for Christmas.

Cody is still doing flights at Coronado (HSC-71) Raptors. He is in his second mini deployment in the Stennis preparing for his 8mo deployment that will begin in January. He and his family will be gone for Christmas.

Son and Daughter together during her homecoming of 1st Lt. Valerie Krygier from her 8 mo deployment in the South Pacific as a Platoon Commander.  Garrett will return back to Pensacola after this vacation to continue as an instructor for the first Aircrew classes sailors get upon arriving from Great Lakes.

Thanks for the ROLL CALL. My son Patrick is near the end of his pipeline. He graduates FRAC in Mayport in June, after a long 2 years of training. He is Romeo, and looking forward to getting his new orders and getting to work. To those just starting out- its a long and difficult ride, with lots of highs and lows along the way. But now at the end of the training, its all worth it.

OK ... ROLL CALL .... How has everyone been doing ? My son Chris is still living the Navy life in San Diego  .... here is an old picture of his deployment. Fly around inspection of USS Nimitz (68)

After four years of sea duty as air crew and rescue swimmer, followed by four years of shore duty in a squadron teaching new US Navy and Marines, Italian Navy, and Turkish Navy pilots to fly helicopters, my son is going back to sea duty in San Diego, and has to go back thru Rescue Swimmer training. Being seven years older may take a bit harder work and dedication to make it through again. Wonder if going thru as an E-6 and two time 'Sailor of the Year' will be better than an E-3?

Thank you Brad! We're really excited and proud. He's sharp as an ax, tough as nails, and an all around good guy so we know he'll do well.
