What Were Your Feelings When Your Sailor Joined The Navy:
I was pleased that he chose to join the Navy, as an uncle, his dad and his (late) paternal grandfather were in the Navy. He put a lot of thought into this and asked many questions at the recruiter office. It is almost 2 years and he still loves the Navy!!

Thanks so much Dee! I trust that my daughter is well. I have no idea where she is as she is not currently speaking to me. But I do know that she is in the care of God and I can not ask for anything more than that. He will take care of her.

Dee, thanks, I am so sorry. That was not supposed to be on your page. My page is kooky. Thanks anyway. I hope all is well with you and your sailor/family. You guys are in my prayers.

Hi Dee, thanks for your comment. I am not sure if he will be right home. You knowhow things change in the Navy. I am hoping he will be home for the holidays. Christmas and Thanksgiving will not be the same. I hope your sailor is doing well. I had to find your comment on a thread. I don't know what is going on on my page in the comment box. Have a great week and thanks.

Welcome to NavyDads Dee! I'm sure you'll find the site as fun and useful as I have. Explore and make some friends, add your comments to a discussion or two, read the postings in the various groups-- even start one or two. I have! If you have any questions or concerns about your sailor and what he is going through...ask! I'm sure someone here will have the answer or can point you in the right direction to find out. I'm lucky enough to have two sailors- my son Eric just returned from a seven-month cruise on the carrier Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) and my daughter Kat returned last fall from a seven-month cruise on the carrier Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). And Dee this is a great place to brag about your sailor as well! So join in and let us know how Brian is doing! Best Regards- Paul

Dee, Welcome Aboard! I'm so glad to have the Navy Moms on here to keep us men in line. My son is an ABE aboard the USS Ronald Reagan in San Diego, Ca. and my family and I couldn't be prouder of him. When he first enlisted I found NavyForMoms in searching for answers to my son's future. I just knew their had to be a site for dads like n4m's but I was wrong. So I started this site so us dads would also have a place to call home. We have many moms on the site and benefit greatly from their point of views and we are willing to help the moms in any way we can. So jump right in share concerns, join groups, share info, and show off your sailor. I hope this site benefits you and your family throughout your sons journey in the Navy. Thank Brian for his service for me and thanks again for joining us.
Sincerely,EG
