- What Were Your Feelings When Your Sailor Joined The Navy:
- I am excited about the prospect of her growing up and serving our country. But, at the same time I am scared of losing my little girl to the world. I know she has to grow up and move on with her own life, but I also know that I will miss her immensely.
We are now waiting in a medical review for Stephanie. She has a skin disorder which is nothing more than skin discoloration, but the doctor at the Nashville MEPS wouldn't clear her, he sent it up for a national review and clearance.

Just looking through some of the dads and noticed that your little girl is the dep program as my son is. Also noticed that she leaves for basic in August 2009 and went trough the Nashville Meps Station, us to. Also notice she plays base in band. Matthew my son plays French Horn in Hopkinsville High Band, Hopkinsville, KY. and has basic starting August 3rd.
