I created a simple ASVAB calculator to help my son figure out what rates he may qualify for. I thought I would share it with you all for your kids. It is an excel file and will do the work for you.
On the top right you will find some cells that are green in color. Put your kids line scores into the correct box and the calculator will do all the math. There is a column with the required score for each rate and next to that you will see your scores. There is also a column that says YES or NO based on your score for each rate.
Hopefully this helps someone out there. If you find any problems with it please let me know and I will make the corrections as needed.

Oh wow, I created this when my oldest was in DEP. I'm sure it needs to be updated. I will try to do that soon. I will also look into a way to list gender specific stuff.
Is there any way to adapt this to see gender qualifications/disqualifications?
do you have any data? with the inclusion now of women (it's in the process) of being transitioned to sub duty, and with the exception of SWO ratings, I'm not sure any gender disquals are applicable
I was asking because my daughter went to MEPS Aug 1 last year and the recruiter there said she only qual'd for four jobs (may or may not be true), but on here (since it doesn't differentiate male/female) it gave her a lot more options. And I'm guessing a lot of those were not applicable to her because of her gender.
negative....the Navy is overstaffed (thank your government) and they can be very selective unless the potential sailor has a very high ASVAB
there is no green anything on my computer screen can you help me out?
