My biggest fear is that I'll try to live vicariously through my son. I always wanted to be a Marine Officer, but didn't do it. I aS of that age at a time when I was too opposed to the war we were fighting to join up. I worked at the Naval Hospital in Bethesda. I loved and supported our men, but hated the war.
I think this will be one of the best and most important things my son will ever do. How's that sound fro

Steve, live vicariously through your son. Give him the knowledge and experiences that only someone who have walked in boots can. What i do with my daughter is make sure that she understands the options presented to her. But when it comes down to it, give way. Allow her to do what I raised her to do. Make sound decissions. OOH RAH!!!
