Have not heard much from our son so I don't even know where to start planning to regards to PIR. He is in Division 815 and I can't find much information or any pictures, just 200 and 900 divisions. Do they have any time after graduation? Does anyone know how long?
Thanks for any help, this is all new to us.

Hi Duncan M. Our son is in 815 also. He said he will have about 45min after graduation to be with us then will be away from us for about 4-5 hours to move all his stuff over to his new sleeping quarters and then will be available to be with us again but has to be back on base by 2200. He thinks he'll be able to hang out with us Sat and Sun from approx 0730-2200 each day. They will be staying in Great Lakes for about 2 months is my understanding before leaving for their next part of training. We are planning on flying out Monday.
from another site: Many of the Sailors who were in an 800 division or who have a contract for one of the special ops ratings will stay at the Training Support Center (TSC) at Great Lakes following PIR for training prior to flying out for the next part of their training--only AIRR does not. Plan to leave late Sunday or on Monday if you are able.
Liberty rules will be the same as far as what they can and cannot do. All have a 50-mile limit
from RTC's page: We post informal division photos about midway through training on a division's 4-1 Day of Training. Meaning: their fourth week, day 1
you must not have looked in the Boot Camp group as I have a group photo for 815 posted in there.
