I have heard that recruits not staying in great lakes for A school could actually be taken to the Airport anytime after midnight is this true

    Right after PIR, my daughter was allowed "liberty" for 7 hours, and was on a plane in the early morning hours the morning after, heading for Pensacola. Her fiancé met her at the airport at 3 a.m. to give her her cell phone as she was not allowed to take it back onto RTC after liberty. Short answer to your question: absolutely!

    Well my son graduated Basic on 8/21/15 and was suppose to ship out Saturday and as of 8/31 he is still in Great Lakes and his A school is in Pensocola

    Yes, my son left the very next morning around 5:00 am. Like Michael said, the airline allowed us to sit with him.

    yes sir. my son just graduated this past Friday. we were at the airport with him at 0500. the airline should give you a pass to go back with him until his plane departs to his next destination.
