My Son graduates Basic on 9-06-13. He reports to A School that night. My question is can I bring him his watch and laptop? I think he would really like to have them. He is suppose to do PIR this week but I havent heard from him. Yes I am worried!!! LOL It has been just him and good Old Dad for 4 years now. So I guess I worry like a woman!! lol No disrespect to any woman! My mother is one! lol

You should be able to give your son his personal items (phone, watch, laptop, etc...) some time the weekend of PIR.
It looks like your son should be staying at Great Lakes. Which means that after PIR is over he will be sent over to the Main Base and have to check in there before he actually gets liberty for the weekend. This process takes a couple of hours! (Because the Main Base needs to process 600-700 new members and this takes time.) But don't worry, once this is complete you should have your son for the weekend and at some point that weekend you can drop off his long missed electronics.
Also, you won't hear from your son until he finishes Battle Stations 21 and is officially a sailor. Since his division is in the front of his TG, this may come soon for you?
Best of luck and Congratulations! Welcome to the Navy family.
