My son failed his swimming, and I was told today, that he was moved to ship #6, because he won't be graduating with his ship mates this friday...he will be held there until he passes...anyone have a scrap of info, on this, or has been through this, I would like to hear your from you, and what I might have coming my way soon??

Well we traveled to Great Lakes last Tuesday and attended PIR on Wed. (because of Thanksgiving). very moving and emotional. Steph played in the band and it was great. Don't be surprised if you kids are not tired and just want some down time. She heads to Pensicola next week and off to A school.
I received a letter from my son, he has finally passed his swimming, and looks to graduate on the 30th of Oct., he also told me that there were like 96 other recruits, with issue's ranging from, failed physical fitness, to injuries, and swimming...as for how much swimming he now does...as near as I can figure, he's in the water, about 8 hrs a day..lol, I think he is ready to move one to his "A" school, I was giving him lip service, about liking Great Lakes so much, he decided to stay an extra few weeks....
