Just a few things to think about before U go and see your Sailor Graduate, First, get a GPS! We have a Garmin and it was worth its weight in gold. Took my wife and I from NY to GL Navel Base without a hitch, and we hit Chicago at 6pm can U say 'rush hour' I think that without it we would still be someplace in Chicago :) Borrow one from a friend if U cant buy one, It also helps when looking for a place to eat. Next bring an extra toothbrush, razors(with trimmer) and pajamas for your Sailor if you are gonna be lucky enough to spend a day or two with him/her. Don't bother with regular clothes as they will not be able to wear them. Wife and I stayed at the Ramada Inn was very nice there. also on day of Graduation leave a solid 2 hours before as the traffic will be heavy and U don't want to be late. Probably more I should say but I can't think of anything ATM.
