What can be done about blatant bullying in A School? Our daughter seems to be dealing with this alot lately, and I feel helpless? Some things happening are mates making fun of her weight & obscene gestures as well. They tell her she looks pregnant, and that could not be further from the truth. I looked on the Navy web site but couldn't find anything. She's gone to her A School instructor, and he seems to just brush it off!! I am very concerned for her well being!!

Steve - I don't have an answer for you but just want you to know that I am sorry your daughter is experiencing this. It's got to be difficult to deal with especially if her instructor is offering no assistance. Continue to support her and encourage her - tell her to try to ignore the bullies (easier said than done,I know - but try!) Sometimes if they don't get a rise out of you they will finally leave you alone - she can show them she is the bigger person by not letting it get to her. Again, so sorry for her having to deal with this. Maybe someone else on here will know of a more formal way of handling this.
