Can a Navy Representative locate you especially those that live in rural Area. I was a Casualty Assistance Calls Officer (CACO) that had to make personal notification to family members of deceased or seriously ill or injured Sailors. I always went to the local volunteer fire department which had fire numbers which made it easy to find the family members. Those moms and dads living in rural areas might ask their Sailor to place directions how contact you be it fire number of some other direction to contact you. Hopefully it will never be used but just in case.

It's great but when your on the road as a CACO that information may not be readily available.......
