Cell phones /computers at PIR

 My  son has his PIR at the end of Jan .We plan to GL to see him  ,he will then go to "a" school    Can we take his cell phone and computer to GL and give it to him  or do sent it to him at "a" school?    thanks for the in put

    They can have them after PIR,my daughter was told to keep it quiet. She took it to class at A school and looked at it during class and got in trouble, so she leaves it in her room during the day.

    cannot have that stuff until he leaves RTC.... many give their sailors that stuff at the airport.  Backpacks for that kinda stuff have to be black...they may be giving the recruits black backpacks at RTC....don't know what current policy is as things are changing so often.  Policy at A-schools generally allow those from the get go....if in doubt, check with your sailor
