Coffee in Afganistan

My son is serving with SOCOM in Afganistan,, he called his Mother this morning,, said, "Mom" if you can, send us some coffee. I wasnt home and didnt get to talk to him,, but evidently its hard for them to buy coffee grounds as we do here in the states at the store,, to brew at their work stations,, and of course we know they spend most all of their hours on duty over there in their work stations,, if not out in the field. Coffee in the Chow Hall's,,, or should I say Dinning facilities is readily available, but they cant bring it out and keept it at their duty,, as I suppose with the Dunkin Donuts or who ever is selling coffee over there. A lot of the troops , sailors, marines, airmen , coasties, and silly villians,, eerrr sorry,, civilians working over there I guess have a hard time just getting grounds to brew while their working,, so maybe yall, when thinking about what to put in a Care Package , a pound or two of coffee would be great,, I just sent my son 6 lbs of coffee today,, hope that will keep him awake for awhile :-)
