contact information

does anyone know how to contact the bootcamp in regards to paperwork for insurance and benefits.  I would like to drop coverage on my son since he is now property of the Navy but i cannot do so without paperwork showing he has coverage of his own.  this saving would pay for my trip to graduation.

  • Keep him covered until he is done, in other words. He isn't property of the govt until he graduates....lots can happen between now and then. Ie FTA, or FX, cold injury, mental breakdown, or he could admit something during amnesty period...something the Navy isn't willing to look past. Its only 8 weeks...
  • A copy of his orders should of came home with his clothes, in the 'box'. That is a legal document, which isn't really good until he graduates...I would wait until he graduates and actually has a military ID. A copy of that should get you off the hook.
