I have seen that hand held you have online and have wondered about them! They are selling at a great price! I did the programming for are local law enforcement as a volunteer so I don't need to buy anymore as I got a few when they went to 800mg.
The G5RV is a great antenna! I had to take mine down a few years ago when I got a new roof and never put it back up. I used it for Air Force Mars but I'm no longer in that as I didn't have to time to do the time. I have a mini beam 20-6 meters and a Gap Titan vertical. The vertical has been great for DX!
Nice to meet you! Three rigs just collecting dust? I'm jealous! (You can read my story over on QRZ.com) I'm using an old ICOM 760MKii that a friend loaned me just so I could get on HF. I have a Yaesu 7900 in the van for 2m and 440 and a Baofeng UV-5RA handheld for the same.
I too rather enjoy the slower paced ragchewing over the frantic craziness of contesting. I haven't spent much time on 15 or 20m but sure would like to give it a go with you some time. I'm using a G5RV Pro hung as an inverted V and I've been into MN before on 40 and 80m so spreading my "wings" to a new band sounds good!
I hope to have a few more HamDads here find us and maybe set up a Net even if only a weekly one.
This is KC0FMI, Bob Kaliszewski I'm a general class with 3 HF rigs that just collect dust because I like rag chewing, not contesting, so maybe I can turn the beam your way some day and we can connect on 15 or 20 meters. My daughter that is in boot camp is also a Ham as well as my wife, or mother.
I'm thinking maybe that might just be something to consider...

May the ionosphere rise to meet you.
May the QRM be always in the background. May the sunspots shine warmly on your log. May the rain fall softly on your beam, and until we meet again, may you always hold your mike in the palm of your hand!
