Hello....My son is FC...on hold at Great Lakes for now but leaving for Dam Neck C School(CWIS) in September....I am a member of NavyforMoms but cannot find anything about FC C school in Dam Neck so thought I would come over here and see if anyone can tell me anything about the facility/did your sailor like Dam Neck/is it a training facility like Great Lakes or a regular Navy Base etc.....hope to get some info on where my sailor is headed...Thanks

Dam Neck is a both a training facility and a Navy base.
In the enclosed link from global security (it is a little outdated) it lists info about the base.

CSCS Unit Dam Neck is where your son will actually be attached to for school. The area is nice with beach access just a couple blocks away from the barracks.
Paul....his orders are for Dam Neck....CWIS C school Dam Neck....and that is what I am having a problem finding info about....I can find people talking about IS and other schools but very little on FC CWIS at Dam Neck....I know there is a group from his A school class going to Dam Neck for CWIS but only one other mom is on NavyforMom and we are both just curious about where they are going and what it is like....so thought maybe there was someone here who has had a sailor that went there or is currently there now....thanks
