Anyone,

I just recieved a call from my son today at 3:30 p.m. He completed BC and will be graduating April 15th. Can a Father get any more proud. I actually cried when I heard his voice on the phone for the first time in 8 weeks. He was so relieved to have completed Battlestations today and be handed his US NAVY SAILOR cap. He sounded so tired and was looking forward to some long awaited rest. Just thought I would give a shout to anyone out there who feels the same way. SO PROUD!!!!

  • Hang in there Chris, our son is in his 7th week. He graduates on Friday, May 6th (next Friday). Time really goes fast. Our son Jon is on ship 12, division 159. Just keep sending your son letters. They like that.

  • Congratulations to you and your son. Its been just about a year and I still remember how I felt when those large gym doors opened and they all Marched in. As Tony said convey a Bravo Zulu to your son, And thank him for me for protecting my freedom.
  • congratulation to you and your son. i know it was a hard eight weeks for everyone in your family. Now on to A School!!!
  • Congratulations! I know the feeling, couldn't figure why my back was hurting...found out I it was proudly strutting around, sticking my chest in the air. I agree with Mr. Lipscomb, about attendind his graduation. It's been about six years since m son graduated  but still remember it vividly.
