My son just left for boot camp on October 28 and I know that this is jumping the gun considering all the possible scenarios that will decide my son's PIR... but if his boot camp takes the "normal" length of time, will graduation still occur on a holiday?

Gallbladder removal. has not been a lot of fun I am one of those people who don't like to be down for very long and start pushing myself sooner then later. Have not heard anything from Sean since the day after Thanksgiving other then a really quick 2 paragraph letter saying things were going okay. I know his sister is really really looking forward to going to the PIR.

So did Sean, he actually had qualified for the SEAL program on the physical side, he did not score high enough on the written testing. Which was okay I thought he should find out if he liked the Navy before he went for the SEALS. to be 18 again and good shape, man I miss those days.

We made reservations last night for a hotel so we're excited to have the process underway. I've had to search through quite a few forums and comments to get the skinny on the motel thing. Interesting that these businesses don't market themselves on this site and others. I don't own a video camera yet but we're hoping to get one before we go- and we'll try to get some video of Sean if we can... and then send it to you. I feel your pride! Mark
