It will seem like it's forever! I think I waited three weeks just to get the letter. I didn't get any personal belongings because my son took to heart what his recruiter said about bringing nothing. He took only a tooth brush, his worst pair of shoes, and the worst pair of clothes he could find. In the end the only thing we got was his letter informing us the date of his PIR and a short 3 lines of how he's doing. Good luck to your daughter and family :)
