    Hale Koa is a nice hotel but it's no where near Pearl Harbor. Best Western I'd say is about 10 mins compared to 45mins from Waikiki. It also depends on traffic getting from Waikiki to Pearl Harbor. At Best Western you really won't get any traffic because Pearl Harbor is just down the road. However, where ever you want to stay enjoy your tiger cruise with your son :) I'm sure it will be a blast!

    Have your sailor book you into the Hale Koa.  It's an awesome military hotel on Waikiki...

    This is the closest hotel near Pearl Harbor. This is also where they send all the recruits who are leaving for boot camp so you'll see a lot of military personnel coming and going. All recruits stay here because it's the closest to MEPs and Hickam AFB and Pearl Harbor.
