  • My son graduates a week after your's and heads to Goose Creek, SC. I'm really looking forward to visiting him in South Carolina. Nice and warm plus I can't wait to visit the carrier and sub in Charleston.

  • actually, last time I talked with the son he said it wasn't too bad. Although born and raised in the south, for the last year he's been working as a meat cutter so he worked in a refrigerated environment and is used to the cold. That being said....0 degrees is still friggin cold any way you slice it. Funny thing is, he graduates on Jan 30 and then flies out for A school in Pensacola, FL. Snow to sun in one day courtesy of the US Navy.

  • sure glad it was 74 here yesterday..........

I live very close to Chicago in Northern Indiana, and I like to listen to WGN radio during the day at work. By the end of the day today they were already talking about closing schools tomorrow due to the wind chill factors.

  • I've got a southern boy as well but he likes the snow. He called the other day and I mentioned maybe he will get snow duty.
