My son is now at the USO in Chicago waiting the ride over to the RTC! He has been waiting there for a while and just texted us to let us know they were starting. It was a rough day for us sending him off ... He is an only child and we are going to miss him dearly, but we are so very proud. He is a CTI and will be headed to Monterrey DLI for A school. He told us today while at the USO waiting he has met several other CTI.
The PIR date is a guess but the 8 Friday's would put us to the 8th ... Eager to hear from other parents on this journey these next 2 months.

it doesn't seem like it now, but the 8 weeks will go by much faster than you think they will......
Our son Max went in Dec 12 for CTM. PIR is Feb 8th. Its been exciting and an anxious time. Have spent a lot of time on Facebook talking to other parents. Facebook pages are usually started by parents and titled by PIR or the Ship & Division your recruit gets assigned to. That info will come after a couple weeks in a form letter. We've learned a lot on this site and Facebook from those who have been and are going through the same things. Great people and great support.
