I just got done seeing my son graduate to a proud sailor.
Just a quick tip for all parents of upcoming graduates. You will most likely be sitting on steel bleachers. So, if you have any back issues or you don't like to sit on steel bleachers for hours make sure to bring a cushion (like one used for a chair) with you to the ceremomy. The gates opened at 6:30am and the ceremony was done around 11am. Have fun and congratulations in advance for raising wonderful men and women.

It has been a while, but I remember steel benches being hard and cold. By all means bring a cushion.
We did not have any problems brining them into the drill hall.
Congratulation on your sailor! my question is were you given any problems for bringing in a cushion?
