Good Evening Navy Dads, I joined this site for selfish reasons...I have a BBQ for 100+ Sailors and Marines evey Memorial Day...I have many Navy moms but only 2 Navy dads helping with the setting up and cooking every year...we are in need of more navy dads..Please join us this year, see the event page

Thanks John, I appreciate you reaching out to others for me. So sorry you can't make it, but you just work on healing so you can be there at the 4th Annual. Looking forward to seeing Linda again, she is a wonderful person and a great help. Also looking forward to meeting your SeaBee son, my daughter also a SeaBee will be there this year also.
I will put together a wish list this week-end and post on both NavyforDads and Navyfor Moms
this is a great thing....its fleet week in NYC and these guys all come by chartered bus from their ships to the BBQ. susanne does everything before hand and it would be great if we can get some local men to help out that day. my SeaBee (home now from Iraq) will go early to help my wife but unfortunately i cant. appreciate the help.
my wife, linda, says you are having trouble getting any Navy Dads to volunteer. due to back surgery i missed last years BBQ and will have to miss this years because of repeat surgery. Linda will still be there with her cookies, shish ke bab, tents and whatever else you need. i will see if i can muster any support for you here. please provide a list of things you need help with and the times you will need the men.
