We were alowed to go the Ohare Airport the following morning at 0300 hrs. We arrived at the the same time the sailors did at 0400 hrs. Who gain more time to spend with your Sailor. United Airlines and the USO helped us all out. They allow you to go to the boarding area with your Sailor and wait with them till thier flight leaves.
One thing we learned that some sort of carrying bag is needed for them. They have to carry thier orders and tickets. They will also most likey get a few sancks and maybe something to read. We learned that and bag ( back pack, should bacg ect) has to be black. There was only one place that he could find one and that was at an Oakly store just be security on B terminal. It we had know earlier we could have gotten one at walmart or somplace similar and saved fifty or more dollars. It did make much convienent oand more organized with the back pack.
There is so much more that I would like to share but space & Time would not allow.
