Initial Fitness Assessment (IFA)
The previous mandatory physical requirements of the Initial Fitness Assessment (IFA) are no longer tested; the responsibility of being physically ready for recruit training is solely the responsibility of the Future Sailor. Participating in a physical fitness program while in the Delayed Entry Program (DEP) is strictly voluntary.
Your Recruiter shall provide you with the physical fitness requirements at boot-camp. The chart below is from the previously required fitness requirements for Future Sailors. The follwing is the minimum requirements for Age and Gender specific fitness levels.

PRT Scoring
The Navy PFT score is determined by averaging the scores of the three fitness events. To find the average, we add the scores together, then divide by 3. 85 + 65 + 55 = 205. 205/3 = 68. This sailor would receive a PRT score of 68, which we can see on the below chart is categorized as "Good (Medium)." To graduate boot camp, a sailor needs an overall category of "Good (Low)," which means their average in three events must be 60 points or greater.
