    It was a great weekend Jim. I found Sarge's meet and greet very helpful (especially the part about buying a seat cushion from Walmart to alleviate the pain of sitting on that metal bench for over 3 hours). :)  Was a great PIR and I enjoyed spending the weekend with my sailor. He is staying at Great Lakes for A school so we had the whole weekend with him.

    One of the most awe inspiring events I have ever witnessed. Time with my son was much to short as he had sentry duty at 2000 then flew out at 0600, but would not have missed it for the world!

    My SR is Div 331. We have not heard from him since the "I'm a Sailor" call and need to find out when and where he ships out! Looking forward to seeing everyone this Thursday/Friday

    Mike, my daughter graduates on 9-06-13 also and is assigned to the same ship and div.  I just received a letter yesterday stating they finished the tear gas training and they are starting Battle Stations this week.  Probably today or tomorrow.  She wrote that she believed she would be making her next phone call on Friday Aug 30th.  I'm guessing that will be the "I'm a Sailor" call after Battle Stations is completed.  We are ready to see her at graduation!!!
