My son was set to fly out of Beckley MEPS tomorrow. It looks like it's been pushed off a day. So my question is, will this affect things down the road? He's signed up for MA and from what I heard the schedule is tight. Still a newbie here, so any info will help. Also, advice on comforting the mother & grandmother?

I'm not so worried about flights getting cancelled. I know they need to be safe. I'm worried the Navy won't take him over a fingernail. He's been waiting since Memorial Day to ship.
Ok, here's an update. So he got sent home Thursday for having a fingernail that had come off. He had to get a medical statement saying he was fit for service and no medical treatment was needed. So he's back to MEPS tomorrow. My question: what is the likelihood he won't ship?
