My son stated he was in a push division and I was wondering if any one could give me a little more insight to what this means. I have a basic understanding but would like to know how they play "catch up " and graduate in seven weeks and not eight.

"Sir,
We do not give out any specific training schedules of the recruits including Battle Stations. Your recruit is the only who is allowed to give you that information.

Your sailors must be communicating with their moms more than their dads!!!

I have the scoop on BS21. I get all my info from Navy 4 moms . lol The dates they have posted for our divisions is Wednesday- Nov 10,2010. (not official)They have a start time of 8 pm ,lasting 12 hours. The ladies say its tradition to burn blue candles for duration of BS 21 and Im sure my wife will as well.
I agree with you about being a proud Navy Dad. I'm glad your son is doing fine. I am already very proud of everything my son has accomplished and can't wait to see him marching in with his division.
My son left for bookcamp a week later than the other divisions and was told they would work hard to catch up to graduate on 11-12-10. My son is in DIV 370 and seems to be doing fine. I think 369 & 370 will be doing BS21 together ,if the ladies have the dates right. I cant wait for PIR myself ,i will be one proud Navy DAD!
