Biography
BM3(SW) Andrew Hogan is currently serving on the USS Bainbridge, DDG 96.
He enlisted on June 26, 2008, and his PIR was August 25, 2008. He attended BM "A" school in Great Lakes. He was assigned first to the USS Anzio, but was transferred to the Bainbridge. He is ESWS qualified, BMOW, Flight-deck, Damage control, and Coxswain.
Andy's hometown is Newport, Tenn. He was the C.O. of his NJROTC unit his senior year in H.S. He was the color guard commander and led his unit to their first appearance in the Navy National drill competition in Pensacola, Fla. It was only the units 4th year. Andy has been on active duty for 2 yrs. and 5 mo. He is flight-deck and coxswain qualed. He is a member of the fire party flying squad and on his ships VBSS team. He is HIFR team and UNREP rig captain and POIC qualed. He is chock & chain, VERTREP and Landing Safety Enlisted qualed.
He enjoys Country music and Bob Dylan, Jim Croce, Dr. Hook. He likes to play golf, deer hunt and fish. He loves F-Series trucks.
