Sailor of the Week, Jan. 7 - 14, 2011

Biography

 

At the request of the family, our Sailor of the Week is only going to use his first initial of "J". He is currently deployed on the USS Abraham Lincoln as a Rescue Swimmer. He is an AW2 and just made Crew Chief.

His PIR from Great Lakes was August of 2007 and went to A school in Pensacola in October of that same year.

His hobbies include working out, scuba diving, camping, 4-wheeling and working out some more.


Hi home town is Vero Beach, FL.

    Congrats to you J.  Great job to be AW 2nd class and crew chief.  Keep going onward and upward.  All us AW Dads are extra proud of all of you and what we know you have gone through to get where you are.  Hooyah!

    "J" you have done a very good job and I want to send me congrats to you and your family for all that you do. It is not a easy job and you have used your time in the Navy wisely getting to your current rank AW2 and Making Crew Chief says you go the extra distance. I had a good friend who was a Crew Chief in Vietnam, He told me about the responsibility placed on a Crew Chief. My hats off to you. Thank You
