Biography

 

Lieutenant JG. Brandon Rodgers enlisted in June 2001, but because he wouldn't turn 18 until August, he completed his delayed entry requirements over the summer and began boot camp in August 2001.  He was at Naval Base Great Lakes on September 11, 2001 when his Uncle Daniel and cousin David were killed aboard United 175 when it was flown into the World Trade Center.  


Brandon attended A school in Great Lakes and served in Operation Iraqi Freedom on the USS Briscoe and Operation Enduring Freedom on the USS Ramage as a gunners mate.  He then entered the Seaman to Admiral Program and is currently flying jets. 

 

Brandon is married and has three children.  Brandon's hobbies include physical fitness and horses.
