Are there different levels of shooting, and if so where does sharp shooter fall. My son said in a letter he earned a sharp shooter ribbon. Way to go SR!

My son Graduated 3/13/15. He also received sharpshooter. As I understand it, the ribbon is for small arms qualification. The highest qualification is expert, the second is sharpshooter. I don't know if there are others.
