    Marksmanship awards, qualification, and record entries shall be based on the following:

    Possible Score =  240

        Expert  =  228 - 240

        Sharpshooter  = 204 – 227

        Marksman = 180 - 203

        Minimum Qualifying Score = 180

        Unqualified = Less than 180

  • My son Graduated 3/13/15.  He also received sharpshooter.  As I understand it, the ribbon is for small arms qualification.  The highest qualification is expert, the second is sharpshooter.  I don't know if there are others.
