    Erick said they didn't know each others first names.  I never thought about that.  Was good to hear from him.  He talked about the "confidence chamber."  Tear gas and pepper spray.  Sounds crazy.

    Erick sent me a letter and mentioned.  Ryan they call him "ski".  i haven't had chance to write about Grant yet.  i will do that today.

    The early days were harder.   The first letter will make you feel better.

    I wrote Erick a letter today and mentioned Ryan's name.  I know Erick will study hard he has really wanted to succeed in this from the day he pre-enlisted.

    he said he got a 2 rating in the swim test.  we are from west central illinois.  we live near Macomb, Illinois. yes Erick is signed up to be a corpsman.  he trying to qualify for corpsman diver.
