Been practicing my Hooyaaahh shout out for the State of NH when we're called on Friday morning.......that is while polishing shoes and packing clothes..........very proud and very grateful......
Hi Bill - well, it looks like we may be in for another wait.....Let's hope you are correct. I was chatting with Co-Admin Jim and he reports BS21 can go as late as Thursday.....we will be there, by then?!?!? Ruh roh.... I sure hope you are also correct that the boys had final PFA today.....time to call it a day.... I will let you know if we hear from Michael.
Awesome..so from what he says they made inspections and after today's PFA they really just have BS21. No call her so i am assuming my son passed …waiting for the BIG call wednesday!
LOL - as long as it is before I hop on a plane to IL on 9 October 2014 at 0645 hours!! He wrote the letter on the 24th Sept and we received today, 2 Oct 2014. So, putting this information and yours of last night together, let's hope today was final PFA. Otherwise, I am clueless!! lol I will let you know if we hear more.

yes it seems the last anyone has heard was the 24th… i am positive PFA was today…it WILL be Wednesday..think i asked you..are you guys going the the meet and greet at the Sundance Saloon with Sarge?
Hi Bill!! Ahhhh, the overwhelming power of a letter!!! Written 24 Sep 2014 received 2 Oct 2014 - same day as the blood drive. (which so happens to be his paternal grandfather's birthday - my son did not know his grandfather - heck, I barely knew my father, but I have to wonder if my father is serving in a Guardian Angel role now.) In a nutshell, I 'think' my son's doing alright......(there I go again, fingers crossed)..... He referred to "next week" which is this week....they are in the midst of fun stuff, as he described, and getting ready for the 'Call to BS.' He wrote positively of firearms training; the Div's Inspection performance; an improved academic test performance; and proudly wrote of being present for group and individual photographs.
He referred to this week and next as being busy and would call when he could. He wrote of his excitement as he heads toward BS. He was clearly tired when he wrote the two page letter - first side of first page and top quarter of fourth page were written upon - nothing else - LOL. Heck, I am just thankful that we received this in tonight's USPS mail. No matter how short - the enthusiasm in his letter is contagious!! Continuing to be prayerfully optimistic, but omigosh, so prayerfully grateful!! Hoping that I don't turn into a blubbering whale with a river of tears at PIR!! He IS working hard and it reads/sounds like it is coming together for the fellows in the Div. Hope you guys also received recent news from your son. I will let you know if he reaches out to us this weekend....I am mostly home and will be sitting with multiple phones at arms reach.
Hi Bill - well, no phone activity and no USPS activity today in NH. Co-Admin Jim did suggest I may not hear from Michael until after conclusion of Battle Stations. So, what did I do tonight? I wrote another letter!! Fingers crossed and lots of prayers and Mass in the morning............. Praying for good news sometime late next week - Jim mentioned they take the Div's in order - so, our sons may be last or second to last. Be well.
