I just saw one dads post several weeks ago. He had been waiting all day. Finally got the call that evening, on a Wednesday. I hope it is early. My son is MN and is also staying in GL for 43 days then to San Diego for 89, remainder. So based off what I have been able to put together, they are still in week 5 currently and will begin week 6 later in the week do you think?
As I understand you should get a call about 9-9:30 am after BS. The commander at the cap ceremony (around 8:15) will inform them that they are official Sailors and Friday will be nothing but a formal presentation for the family's. What is your SR's rating? and where is school? Mine is OS and he will stay in GL.
Hey Robb, thanks. Yeah mine called too Friday around 1 p.m. Got ten minutes. He said the same. That they'd done really bad on an inspection. I am assuming they would go to sleep after BS and call us that night.
