My son just arrived at BC yesterday and has started his P-Days. As a way to connect with his experience, and to get in better shape myself, I thought it might be fun to do a daily workout at home that somewhat mirrors the PT workouts he'll be doing at BC each day. That way I have a sense of synergy with his experience (even while he's away) and it'd be great to get an idea for the hard work he is doing. It'd also be nice to go to PIR looing a bit more slim, at that!
Does anyone have any idea of the routine/workout plan that they do during BC, so that I can create a workout plan for myself? I've done a lot of Google searches, but can only find workouts to prepare a recruit to go to BC, not workouts that they would do while at BC. Any suggestions would be awesome!

I'm doing the same thing. To start I walk at a brisk pace outside for 1.5 miles, drop and do 30 push-ups and continue for another 1.5 miles with a few short 1/4 mile bursts. Plan to increase intensity with more core exercises and increased running. Light weight training a couple times a week as well and through stretching throughout. Gotta start somewhere. Good luck!
What a great idea! Keep us posted on how you do as you get close to PIR. Good luck. I'm approaching the big 5-0 this year and I want to get in good shape as well, working on it.
Have never heard of a set routine...all are goals to pass PFA- those requirements are all over the web .....running, pull-ups, body curl (situp), pushup, etc.etc.
