My son has been gone four weeks tomorrow and we received a brief phone call from him that he's been recycled. He said it was a long story and he'd write. Does anyone have anything they can shed on what might be going on at the 4 week mark?

Was able to talk to the recruiter today and she said he has been ASMO. She gave me the great lakes phone number who told me they can't even give me his new address. --Pretty poor.
Yeah, I was ranting -- but I think it's justified.
I was on four cruises ---I'm pretty familiar with the life. __Like I said, I'm ranting here-- but I think the Navy has been pretty piss poor to this point.
Everyone else goes though this with the letters...it's the way it is and has been for a long time. When on a 7 month cruise, trust me, comms are few and far between at times.....
--His phone call was, "I'm not graduating on time. Cancel you're flight. I'll send a letter." After four weeks and one letter-- I should be pretty close to retirement before another letter -- pretty pissed at the Navy at this point. I was in the Marines and we were allowed to write at least once a week and that was 30 years ago -- Really unhappy with the Navy. Poor showing.
I'd hate to guess. Better off waiting for his phone call.
