hi there I usually use register mail from north Carolina to Chicago 2 days
Our daughter is at Great Lakes now, so most of our communication is by mail. I saw no need for an ATM card either, until my daughter asked us to send her newly activated one. Apparently she had an opportunity to use the old card, which is how she discovered it had been deactivated when we ordered a new one. NTC website doesn't specifically list an ATM card as something to bring or to leave at home. She took the old and they let her keep it. Obviously, we can't have a conversation with her to discuss why or whether it's really needed.
We're attempting next day USPS. We know she won't get it the next day, but maybe it will help if the package gets to Great Lakes a little sooner.

But don't worry he has no need for a ATM card. If he had one you would get it back with his phone and any personal items he had with him
