  • My daughter called us yesterday! It was great to hear her voice. She was so excited! Told us as much as possible, in 16 minutes. Boot camp is definitely not a walk in the park. She was down with stomach virus one day. But back at it. Counting the days, 39 until PIR! See you guys there.
  • I just created a group for PIR 11-06-15. That will give us a place to discuss boot camp with one another as the date draws near.

  • We received our letter, Our PIR 11/6/15. Hopefully the rest of you receive yours soon. Our Daughter arrived in Boot camp 11/9/15.
  • Chuck,

If he is in 820, I posted that in the comment before yours.  820's PIR is 11/6.  Congrats!

  • Our son shipped out on the 8th as well, still haven't received his form letter. My guess is PIR will be November 6th and that he is in Div. 820. Hopefully we'll know for sure within the next few days.

  • Joseph,

Have you not received the form letter from your daughter yet?  I would assume she would be in this group -

    TG 52 - 10 Divisions (369-376, 820 and 952) Graduate Friday, November 6, 2015. Each recruit will be permitted 4 guests

    Upcoming Graduations

  • Thanks for the information. I know it's still early my daughter arrived on the 8th. Have not heard from her, so apparently "No News is Good News". Praying for all. T

Any one know how to find out when she graduates?
  •   congradulations on your daughter going into the navy, I have a son who is graduating on september 25th 2015 ., we cant wait, we have a son in the army and i come from a long line of military Its hard to see them go. my wife handles it pretty well, we are proud of all that enter the military, its a life changing experience, i myself was in the army for 9 years, and i went in when i was 17 . both my boys went into the service at 18,right out of high school i dont know if this is your first sibling to go into the service, but if it is ,were proud of all of you and welcome to the military family,we are from illinois and live about 30 miles from greatlakes, i know all the area, because i am retired from construction and i worked on the base building all those buildings , so if you have any quedtions  about navy bootcamp, calls graduation , etc. we just went through all af it,  my wife is on navy moms , and talks to 3 moms who sons are in the same division , and thats pretty cool, so please dont hesitate ,and welcome aboard
