My son has been in the Navy about a year and a half. He went in for Rescue Swimmer and didn't pass the test on the last day of Rescue Swimmer School. He had been really sick for awhile and just didn't make the best decisions on the final test. He was undesignated for awhile and got assigned to HSM77 in San Diego to be on the Lincoln for this deployment. Just a few months ago he tested for AET, got it, and was assigned to the Momsen.

My son has been on Momsen for a little over a year and this is his second deployment. He is a BM1 and the LPO of Deck Div.

My son just assigned to the Momsen this year, he is a GSE ( gas turbine electrician ). How long has your son been in the Navy?
Yes, my son is on the Momsen.
He is actually air crew (an Aircraft Electronics Technician), part of a helicopter maritime strike squadron. They have birds on the Abe Lincoln also.
