Pensacola Holiday Leave dates?

My son is still in bootcamp; heading to Pensacola end of November. I am trying to get a jump on airline tickets; for the holiday leave period.  Does anyone have the dates in which the school house intends to close down for the holidays?

    I've done the guessing thing too, and have been terribly wrong before.  Jim's guess is also my first best guess, but it is just that.  Never buy plane tickets on a guess, you'll lose more than you save if we are all wrong.

    The schools tend to shut down for two weeks during the Christmas and New Year holiday. Christmas is on Sunday this year. If I were a betting man, I would bet that school is dismissed the Friday before Christmas, and resumes January 9th. But, have your sailor start asking now what the plan is.

    There isn't always one set of dates that everyone follows. It would really be something dependent on where he is going to as a big part, Pensacola has many different training commands I am sure.
