Just got letter from RTC confirming our daughters graduation date: April 01. anyone else have a son or daughter graduating that day.

    You should be able to hear from him in the 3rd week, usually toward Friday. In the meantime, keep writing, they don't get the opportunity to answer until Sundays, when they the chance to read and write back.

    My son Brian shipped out for rtc on Feb. 9th and we recieved his letter the 17th telling us his pir will be 04/08. He is with ship 02 division 921. We are very anxious to see him, and just like a kid in his little note at the bottom of the page he was asking us to make sure all his bills were taken care of. Keep in touch

    Thanks John Trying to get idea of PIR for us   Im thinking 04/08   Just got back from GLS last weekend another son graduate BC on 02/04 was 20 inches of snow on the ground ver cold weekend but got to see our sailor and have him for the weekend     Thanks again

    Shanna ,We are driving up from Granbury,TX for PIR and will be arriving the afternoon of 3-31.Looking forward to seeing my son Christopher.Tell your son good luck and God Bless Him for his dedication to his country.Hope to see ya'll at PIR.

    Shanna, our son is also in Ship 11, Div 116. Also April 1 PIR. We live in Dallas area and are driving to GL.  We have friends to stay with in St. Louis on the way up. Hope to see you there.

    Your MA son is two weeks behind my son in San Antonio; my son is in Class 140 down there.  He's excited because he's getting qualified in the M-16 today.  It's the little things that make him happy!

    Randy, I'm glad you got the letter.  It helps to assuage anxieties.

    the one that graduated on 02/04 is MA the other one in boot camp now is HM

    Wow, Terry!  2 sons just a few months apart!  Are they close in age?
